To flip or not to flip Last viewed: 3 minutes ago

I have been looking for a kit to flip for a little extra cash and I came across an ad on C/L for an old black marble set-$200. I called the number in the ad and the says he has had it since it was new in the sixties. He doesnt know much about drums and was tired of it taking up space in his basement. Long story short, I set up a time to see it and drive over. Turns out to be a 1964 Ludwig Club Date kit in BDP finish with a Supra. Has all of the hardware but he cant remember where the cymbals are. Now my question is this, Do I keep it or sell it? Ireally dont need another kit but it is a nice kit. Pics later tonight.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Buy it and check it out for that price. If you don't like it, turn it over. If you do, keep it. I think of it as renting them for free.......

If you want to be entrepreneurial , you'll have to get over the temptation to keep all the goodies. ( This is how Restaurateurs get obese).

I bought them instantly. It has all original heads and I really like the nickel hardware.

Great find man.. that's a very sweet kit. I love the nickel hardware as well. I would definitely keep it unless there is something very pressing you need the $$ for. I have clubby w/ nickel hardware that's not going anywhere. ever.
