Hahaha...At least we have humor here! I'm running short on space, which is part of the issue! Maybe if I didn't have so many snares...nah! The snares must stay!

From AtlantaDrumGuy

I'm running short on space, which is part of the issue!

So? You need either:

1. More space

2. Get rid of those pesky "modern" drums

3. Sacrifice some of the space taken up by other, not-as-important things, like that chair in the living room, the dresser in the guest room, that nagging wife that wonders why you need more than four kits...

Yes, the snares must stay, and the cymbals, and the kits. You've just got to figure out how to cram MORE into the space you have. THAT'S your space issue!

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

So I'm reading these responses here and thinking to myself, hasn't there been economic crisis and such going on, especially there in the States? I'll assume you've all got your mortgages and such in good order - hate to think of all these beautiful old kits tossed out on the streets, in the rain and hurricanes and tornadoes and earthquakes, and global warming, and solar flares, and ultra violet rays, and looting... just sayin'.
