That is complete 1940's class! It is fantastic that the kit is in that kind of condition. I think I would be afraid to play them!

Great story. I have a question here.Would it be ILLEGAL for any of the "wrap" makers to make the Top-hat and cane wrap.?I knew of a outfit in Alabama that could make/copy anything. Just wondering.V

It must be legal, as I saw Joey Kramer's custom Top-Hat & Cane set on display at the R&R Hall of Fame. Brand new wrap. Someone here must know the source.

A few years ago I saw that Stauffer Percussion was reproducing the Top Hat and Cane wrap. I had called to get pricing many times and never got a return phone call or an e-mail, so I don't know what the deal is. In the mean time, I managed to buy back my Ludwig Jazzette set that was redone in the 90th Anniversary TH&C wrap by Jack Lawton. It had the newer Keystone badges put on, but I thought it should have the oval 90th Anniversary badges on them. So, I made a phone call to a friend who works at Ludwig and long story short, I got six original 90th Anniversary badges that were put aside apparently for installation errors or damage. I am in the process of changing the badges out and I will take post some pictures when it is complete.

"You know what would be great?"
