I've got a special one for sale: vintage Tromsa Snare. the size is 14x5 [or 4,5, not sure]. I don't know the wood, probably beechwood due to quite dry and rich sound.
3 or 4-ply with reinforcement rings added.
it has 6 lugs both sides, muffler inside. the hoops are not paired: the top one looks like old gretsch/sonor type, the bottom is probably newer.
overall condition is quite good, but there are some things to be mentioned:
- the 'seam' [where the shell starts and ends; i don't really know, how to decribe] needs to be adjusted: there is about 1mm gap between; you've to screw off all metal parts and maybe use some glue or screws [under the seam there is piece of wood to strenghten it - i've seen such solution few times]
- the lugs need some work - only inside, need some washers etc.
- there is a lack in the wrap - as seen on the photo; also, there are some bumps - you'll need to remove and re-glue the wrap or change it entirely
- under the strainer there is a hole 'in addition' [from one of the previous owners]

i don't know, how much such a snare is worth, so i'm calling for 100euro plus the cost of shipping.
