Tommy - Thanks for the info. I'm sorry to hear that they went out of business. I'm even sorrier to hear about the lack of quality of the re-issues. I remember a couple of pair of Capella's that were my fav/go-to sticks for years. If you ever see an old pair for sale, please give me a heads-up. I'd love to get my mitts on a vintage pair of Capella's. Man, I remember that when I played them on a practice pad, the sticks would produce a wonderful woody note. It's like the sticks themselves would 'sing' when I played them. Now, I miss those. Haven't even thought about them in years.
