Unknown Slingerland snare drum Last viewed: 2 hours ago

I found this snare in a local drum shop, and it sounded great. Before i'm going to buy it, i'd like to have some more info. I noticed the cloud badge (slingerland, quality drums, chicago, ill. USA). Does anyone know which model/year this snare is, and what it's value is? (aprox.)

Thanks!

It looks like a GK Sound King someone put a cloud badge, streamliner lugs, wrong hoops on. I'll defer to the experts though. :)

I agree with FFR428. $400 is way over-priced. You can pick one up on eBay for about $250.still a cool looking drum though.

As my two other forum mates have already stated. No let this train wreck go to someone else. this has been re badged with a bad cloud badge,Ludwig or after market triple flange rims, modern re production stream line lugs, After market tension rods, and a slingerland slap shot strainer. maybe worth $100.00. Is this at a Guitar Center somewhere?

Sneaky or uneducated sellers trying to make a buck probably hate the VDF experts, huh? Guess that's why we need to support this forum.Help2

Thanks for the reactions!

It's in The Netherlands. The guys working there do know a lot about it, and price their products to the sound. And this one just sounded SO amazing.

I bought it for 350,-.. i think this snare deserves 350,-, but on the other hand i also agree with you about the 'train wreck' :)
