I scored a nice blue onyx 20 inch kick on ebay.Other than the obvious hardware differences,was the shell ply and construction equal to the holiday line?

Yes all shells the same in that Rogers era.

Thanks!Great to know we can save a few bucks on the low end stuff.I really am fond of the long tee rods too.Since I also scored a long hex cymbal arm,I'm going for a single swivo tom mount to add,although the correct peice should be a clamp on style,but super hard to find.
