$4800 usd

Will ship to the USA. Cost for freight to ship these to Jamaica from Vancouver BC Canada is about $550 usd. That's not bad considering the bulk of these drums. It should be less to the Continental USA.

I am having Ray Ayotte build me a shipping crate for the drums. The crate is expensive......over $500 to build it.

I bought them new from Ray Ayotte in 1976. The Super Tumba was a special order at that time.

Four Valje congas and matching bongos.

They're the 31" depth but exact measurement that I get are:

QUINTO 30.5” X 9.75

CONGA 30.75” X 10.75

TUMBA 30.75 X 11.75

SUPERTUMBA 30.25” X13.25

BONGOS 6.75 Macho & 8” Hembra

The drums are in excellent condition. The Super Tumba developed a crack in one of the staves inside the drum a few years ago - a common occurrence in Stave Built conga drums I'm told. I repaired it with the help (online) of some professional conga drum builders. The repair was a success. There were no other cracks previous and none since the repair. All drums are sound. I tucked new LP HandPicked heads onto all the drums a few years ago. I took the opportunity at the time of the Super Tumba repair to remove all the small nicks and scratches from all drums. I carefully sanded them out and refinished with a clear water-based lacquer.
