I have a 14" 1965 Ludwig piccolo that Im considering selling.

Original silver sparkle wrap with an 3"x1.5" patch (silver spk).

The strainer works well but not original.

It has a COB bottom hoop but the top is COS. Bearing edges are in very good condition.

Any suggestions on starting price?

Thank you

Everything looks mint, except for that patch..The throw-off isn't an original and looks to be like it was added on later..

i would say $200-250, maybe a little more..If it were mint, I would say between $450-600 easily. Anyone interested in buying it would have to definitely rewrap it, replace the throw-off with an original. or put a nice stain on it..

Hope that helps !

Guess i missed that hole under the strainer.. It looks practically invisible because of the sparkle wrap.. Didn't even pay attention to snare wires !

I'm getting slower the older i get ;)
