Value of Ludwig SS floor tom Last viewed: 7 hours ago

There is a mostly COW 70's Ludwig for sale not too far from me that comes with a stainless steel 15" floor tom. I'm just wondering what the floor could be worth & if anyone here is looking for one by any chance. Thanks in advance!

It's not mine, but for sale in my vicinity. This is the only picture from the ad.

The ad actually states (my translation to english) : "24 - 15 - 13 drum probably made of birch wrapped in chrome except the stainless floor tom (though I'm thinking maple exterior plies and poplar inside). The ad also says the kick is missing one of the four spurs. what years did Ludwig use 4 legs on the bass drums? I'm also assuming the keystone badges were added after the fact. None of this really bothers me because it is priced as players kit, I'm just curious because I'm digging through catalogs & can't seem to find a 24" four legged COW. Wow that was hard to write without laughing!!!

I had a cow Ludwig kit from the early 80's that had two sets of spurs on both bass drums it was a double bass monster kit.. I right now doubt if the floor tom is a 15" but I could be wrong ?

the floor tom is not COW, but Stainless. The 24" kick and 13" power tom are COW. It's really hard to tell from the pic, but it could be a 13" on a 15".

Yes I got that, I know all but the floor tom is COW. just saying the 15" SS is not likely the size unless it's a 12x15"

sorry, I didn't mean to sound condescending . I am grateful for the advice and well, agree with you after looking at pics.

On the other hand, people seem to like a good argument around here so maybe we could pretend Cool Dude

Once you see it the proofs in that

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
