Those photos are jaw dropping to look at. The B&B lugs look so cool on a Dynasonic. CONGRATS!!!

I didn't finish getting it back together tonight after getting the new heads today from the brown truck.
I noticed the strainer has no D stamp on it???? Odd or normal?
It was a difficult set up as the strainer was binding under tension from the frame and snares. Had to take it back apart several times and finally determined the throw lever was slightly bent. After correcting that ever so gingerly, it works much better now.
Another oddity I picked up on is the lever catch that pulls up the strainer is merely a pin with no roller. My later 7 line has a roller to help with the engagement/disengagement. Normal?
Lastly, it just looks stunning! I'll post some photos tomorrow.
Any input would be appreciated.

In one word: WOW!Then I might add, that the chrome on rims and shell of my pretty early Dyna also came out exceptionally clean without any pitting. Perhaps they did the chroming better back then? Or perhaps you (and I) happened to find a Dyna that was never set up right and thus was never played extensively but sent into early retirement?/Magnus/Magnus
Probably a positive side effect of not being forced into the more stringent pollution laws now being enforced.
Here she is, as beautiful as ever!
Hopefully, I did this the right way tommyp.Jump For Joy

First, I wipe it down with a wet cotton cloth to remove any loose dirt. Then I use Brasso. Apply liberally and spread it out one small section at a time with cotton cloth. Slowly wipe with another cloth, concentrating on the bad spots if needed until the Brasso begins to disappear. Then go over with a buffing cloth. Lots of cloths, yes. No scratches to the chrome at all!
Actually, I have taken a lot of my car care idea's and used them on drums. Same principles, same result = no scratches.
Rogers has the best chrome plating I've seen. Better that the others(Ludwig, Slingerland, and certainly Gretsch).

Absolutely a stunning snare drum and she needs one of the repro hang tags to really set it off.Early Dyna`s are pure work of art...
