Well,

I wouldn't find the parts. This is a wonderful player. It belonged to the principal percussionist of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra who passed away years ago. I bought this, and a horde of other cool stuff from his cousin. The shell is a 2 piece so it's not your typical 6.5. This is a special drum nonetheless and in my description, I divulge the 70s strainer being on it. I'd be very surprised if this sells for just 'a couple hundred bucks'...

Also, don't forget the tube lugs for this drum. Alone, they're worth $125-$200. When was the last time you saw someone selling those? I started it at a penny which is something most don't have the chutzpah to do. Chuck a bid for $250. It'd be a steal for you, if you think the drum is so cheap.

its on my watch list...the 2 piece heavy shells are the best to be found in my opinion. if the mechanism is new, its probably much more effecient and drurable i would guess. this would be a drum that you could actually play the heck out of and enjoy without worrying about it.

ive got a 6 lug 6.5 1918ish,amazing sound!

good luck with your sale bill...
