Vintage 32" bass drum Last viewed: 3 minutes ago

I have kits with a 16" BD (home made for kids), 18" (tama stage star)

20" 2 luddy and a sonar teardrop, 22" (12 or so various brands but mostly luddy)), 24" Luddy kit, 26" Gretsch Kit. I once bought a couple of ludwig toms just to get the lugs off of. I like em so much I searched and searched untill I found the snare, bass, and floor tom to match it. Now I have a whole kit finally after yrs of looking, lol. I really dont want to build another kit. If I get some time I want to give my 68 luddy sky blue pearls I aquired from a deceased friends estate a lug off cleanin', or refinish my vintage gon bop gongas. I might even attempt to get the black paint off of the interiors of my silver sparkle ludwig kit that I aquired from another friends estate. My wife suggested I make a coffee table out of a bass drum. So that is what Im gonna do and its gonna be very cool to me.

I just finished my bass drum coffee table. I coated 4 of the t handles with black rubber 3 times and waiting for it to dry. In the meantime I put some red rubber hose on tops of 4 t handles for the 1/2" 44" diameter tempered glass to rest on. I love it!!. By the way, I didnt molest the drum in anyway. I did put 2 large ludwig keystone badges on it. It had two vent holes and one badge that was torn off.
