The pictures are probably not revealing everything but here a couple of more things I've noticed,...

Snare: Die-cast hoops, wrong position of the tone control knob, wrong strainer

10" tom: Camco never did 10", no reinforcement rings

12" tom: Hoshino Camco lugs ???

14" floor tom looks like a conversion, Premier style hoops

20" bass drum, probably the most original part of the kit but why call it virgin when there is clearly a (non-original) tom mount installed ?

I agree with Cruisin,... the parts, that's where the value is.

This was to be had at $800/900CAN.

But also a long drive...to and from.

With that many questions I'd save the 800 and gas money and wait for a more together Camco kit. They don't come around very often in Canada I'm guessing but no reason to throw good money around like that.

Hmm too bad, you prob don't want to get into shipping, but there is a beautiful 1979 Camco 6pc for sale in B.C. Craigslist $1700..as far as originality, my best guess from peoples comments on here is it is very original,natural color,all lugs match etc etc.I'm no vintage drum guy by any means but they look great. Yep, it's a Frankenkit.....under the $500 mark suggested above.
