Since this is a search engine for ads, putting ads in your search isn't really adding anything useful. I tried Leedy and got a few Leedy ads. So I suspect that the answer is you put a brand name. I haven't expored further to see if you have to do one brand at a time, or if there are any other modifiers possible (eg Ludwig 1940s).
*edit* I tried Ludwig 1940s and you can restrict the decade that way. Cool. And Ludwig drum ads only seem to go up to 1980s. No 1990s. That seems consistent with the cutoff for "vintage" on eBay, although it would certainly be discussed here where we go for really old... I tried alcohol 1990s and that gets some. Including a Suntory ad featuring a Taiko drummer.
