Vintage early 60's Ludwig Pre-Serial Jazz Festival Snare Drum in beautiful White Marine Pearl finish!

the drum is in EXCELLENT SHAPE, no extra holes, original wrap is in beautiful condition and shows barely any yellowing, hardware is super clean with no rust or pitting, original P83 throw off and red felt internal muffler work perfectly. interior has date stamp of Aug 21 19??, I cant make out the last 2 digits but pre serial should put it between 60-63.

best of all it sounds amazing, like every jazz fest.

this example really stood the test of time and was preserved beautifully. I personally find the pre-serial era to be the 'golden era' of Ludwig, before the huge mass production went into effect after Ringo blew it Ludwig up to the moon. a beautiful piece!
