Hi, seeing if there is any interest in this. Theres a ebay item Im looking to bid on, if it gets outta my range I may decide to keep this. So heres what it is. A genuine gretsch 14x18 6ply jasper walnut bass drum, late 70s early 80s. I got this bass drum from classic vintage drums as a virgin new old stock. It had the bearing edges, silver sealerand lug holes drilled. I got 18 hoops with 3/4 black nitron inlay from precission drums. I made this exactly like a round badge, rail mount, telescopic spurs, pratt muffler, diamond cymbal mount bracket, center round badge etc. without having to plug any holes since it was virgin. It has guide mark punch marks where the badge would have been and for the spurs. These are less then 1/8 in diameter and penetrate through 1-2 of the outter ply, 6 ply total. they do not go all the way through. There is a plastic repro round badge on it now. There may or may not be spurs or the upper portion of the rail mount, the spade and the pc the spade hooks into. Im at work and havent looked over what I need off it that I took off another kit. But it has lugs t rods spur brackets, diamond bracket pratt muffler, partial rail mount. These are slightly pitted. The shell is great, with 2 scratch, was NOS a year ago. looking to get around 1000. thanks let me know if theres any interest and I get some pics going.
