I'm no expert, but it will detract from the value only if extra holes were drilled into the drum for the double mount. Now, I'm not sure that is needed. Single mounts can always be found but holes once drilled detract the value forever. They can be filled though but the damage is already done. Throw a few pics up and let us see what ya got :)

Did not purchase it yet that would be the determining factor whether to purchase the drum or not they left the small 4 holes in the drum but drilled the large 1in or larger hole in the center with the 4 holes for retaining the plate thanks for the info

I would say it devalues the kit/drum quite a bit. Could still sound great however! My two cents.

No impact on player value.

It does reduce the collector value like mentioned. This was done to a ton of drums back in the day. Sometimes, it can make a nice drum very affordable since its been altered.
