Was thinking of replacing the generic Gibraltar tom and floor tom rims on my vintage Ludwig Rocker (made in USA with classic lug) 12x8 tom and my late 80's super classic floor tom to their original rims, and was wondering if anyone can tell me what mm size these rims were ? I actually have one original rim from the tom, but the original rims from the floor tom were warped and had chrome flaking so i had to replace them. However, the floor tom rims are tight on the tension rods, probably indicating that the mm size is not the right one ?? Please forgive my ignorance in this matter, as i'm still not well versed in the "rims dept"..;)

I can tune up the drum, but it's hard and takes way longer than usual to get it in tune.. Any thoughts are appreciated, and would help me in looking for and identifying those particular rims.
