Vintage Ludwig silver sparkle drum set.Matching Jazz Festival Last viewed: 22 minutes ago

Loading...

I have a 1970 Ludwig set for sale. Silver sparkle with clear maple interiors on all drums. 24X14" bass drum, 8X12", 9X13" 16"X16" floor tom with a matching Jazz festival snare drum. All drums are in fantastic condition.

I'm not a Ludwig expert but this set looks factory original to me. No serial numbers on the badges.

The snare was added after I purchased the set.

There is a rough spot on the edge of the snare bed. Does not impair the tone.

The sale is for the 5 drums with floor tom legs, spurs and tom post. The stand in the photos is not included.

No mods or extra holes.

More photos to come.

$2200 plus actual shipping to lower 48. SOLD!

Thanks but I'm not interested in a trade.

I bought a Slingy copper set when I was in high school. It took me a year to pay it off. I have fond memories of that set.

I can understand,

I saw these Slings when I was 17, couldn't buy them then, ran across a few years ago, in great condition and jumped on them...I worry though, of the oxidation. Wanted someone in the western part of the U.S. ( less humidity ) that will be less harsh than N.C.

great LOOKING Ludwig's...

Any date stamps inside the shells?

I believe the drums have the small paper tags on the interior. I'm out of town until the last week in November and I will have to look once I'm back home. If you're seriously interested I'll send you photos.

Thanks.
