wow is all i have, to say it would be nice to find the different drum head artist, i wonder if any were famous...

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Scott, These are projects I have yet to get to, but I want to restore these old pedals and a low-boy set-up I have. Here's some shots of the pedals. I'll post a shot of the low-boy later.

Cool link!

John, those pedals look so cool.

They seem to be demanding a restoration.

At least to me these old devices look like they want me, or someone like me, to bring them back to life.

Here is my oldest pedal. (See pics)

This one just got a good cleaning.

The spring and tensioner are not original.

Not sure if they were original when I got it.

But they were beat up.

I bought a new spring and made up the tensioner mechanism with an alan head bolt and nuts. Drilled a hole through the alan head top to slip the spring end through.

It is very smooth and quiet now.

I am patiently waiting to see your completed W&A kit.

That is a dream kit for us restorers.

"Rock ON" or as I say "Polka ON."

Here's a couple of shots of the Low-Boy. Rusty as schitt, but savable! The only thing missing is the clutch to hold the top cymbal. I think it was just a wing nut and some washers. I love the cymbals that came with it, clingy, clangy, but when you drop them together, they actually make a nice chick sound. I was surprised. I'm gonna rehab this one at some point. It's just rust...

The gal using the drum set in the living room shows great style. However, the crossed legs approach lacked foresight given that you'd struggle to use the low boy in that position.
