vintage Slingerland part's question Last viewed: 6 hours ago

I stripped an old 1940s Slingerland bass drum that was busted in half but salvaged the parts from it. I've not familiar with this claw. It's NOB.Would it be a safe assumption to say it is a genuine Slingerland claw?[Attachment: 99815]

I will take your conclusion on face value. I wonder if they intentionally used Leedy parts on Slingerland drums back then. It was an old WMP bass with a aluminum cloud badge attached to it if that helps.

Good I am wrong they're Slingerland. Is your bass drum a single tension model?
