once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
All depends on opinion...if you want it and have the money, then go for it...if you are reluctant or hesitant...then something is telling you no. I always go with the gut.
Nevin
it that virgin mount i suppose i can add them and if i wanted to actually do a rogers mount to b correct but value wise with stock mounts or without is the >?

Best to leave it as it is. As to value, I can't really say whether being "virgin" is better or worse than if it had a factory tom and cymbal mount. As soon as you add a mount, even a factory one, the drum is no longer "original."
so whats the consensus here is the value equal or greater than the factory installed hardware.. and is as desirable, but look what ringo did he added a different mount .... so the ideal situation is to know value of both factory kits,
is the wrap or the wrap and configuration...?

For some of us, the bass drum being a virgin w/o even a cymbal arm mount would increase the value substantially.
well i have a few days too pull the trigger so im first in the offering if i pass its because its worth is not there being virgin but so far i like what im hearing ty for the think tanking gary

It has been my understanding through the years there are just not many virgins around and therefore they are worth more....
