My friend had a few Vistalite toms so I worked on a project to complete a kit out of it. They're 13, 14 & 15" concert toms, 22" bass. I used a piece of flattened out conduit for the bass drum dual tom clip mount and a Tama attachment on a cymbal stand with a cowbell holder part for the clip to hold the 15" tom. Here's pics,

Good job, and neat idea, but some dss mounts would have been easier, and it would accept any tom holder, not just clips.

Dss mounts/suspension mounts/rims are available at www.amdrumparts.com, www.drummaker.com, www.precisiondrum.com www.musiciansfriend.com and a thousand other places including local store.

They attach to the rims of any drum and then any holder can be attached.

Almost all new drums come with some sort of suspension mount.

I think my idea was much less expensive. It cost me $20.00 for the Tama mount on the cymbal stand and 8 bucks for the cowbell hoop mount dingus. The other parts were fabricated from found junk. I can only re-furbish on a budget now days. Thanks for the reply and input.
