$900 by itself?!?! That's awesome! Today when I get home, ill set them up and take a few photos. I havent done anything to the shells, no cleaning yet... which it doesnt need much. they have been kept in the cases that it came with. I did notice that the top rim on the floor tom looks like it snagged on something. A slight noticeable bend between two lugs, but I dont think that is much of a big deal. The shells have minimal scuffs on them. I think they will polish out.

The mounted toms have the original bottom heads and pinstripes on top. Bass has both original heads, floor tom has original heads. Wondering how I'm going to effectively tune a floor tom that big. We'll see!

I saw that ad in an earlier posting about two weeks ago. It appeared that he was asking $700 for just the the two rack toms, bass and a crappy snare. Man! What a good score. Just goes to show that it pays to do a little more investigating. Way to go and enjoy!

He was asking $700 for the entire kit at first. He had a double pedal, bunch of stands and cymbals, throne, and wind chimes. He told me that people had been offering $200-300 for the entire kit. He was glad to sell just the drums for $300. He should be able to sell the rest of the equipment separately and make his money back.

The cases are old and the leather straps are dry rotted, but I think I can find new straps.

The bass is a virgin, but it is missing the curved claws. When I play this one, ill just borrow the claws from my other Luddy, until I come across another pair.

Ill have some pics up a little later! x-mas3
