You're on Mr.G! I sent you a pm, call me when you get an opportunity and we'll hash out the details.

THANK YOU! Your help makes this transaction worry-free for me. Now I know the drums will get to me safely and in the same condition that they left the original owners home. Phew! You da man!

Killer kit, nice pick up John!

Thank you. The 'pick-up' is all that needs to be worked out at this point. The guy I'm buying the drums from went to UPS today to get an estimate for (packing) and shipping the kit from Conn. to PA.

Between $600 and $900 was the estimate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I have to drive the four hours each way to get them myself, I will. Thankfully Glenn has offered to do the pick-up and meet me half way. I'll have a surprise for Glenn when he meets me! I'm going to hook him up for doing this for me. I am really grateful to have friends like Glenn who would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it. Thanks again, Glenn for making this purchase possible for me.

The right words for the right guy....Glenn helped me with the same issue...he picked them up, packed them well and shipped them to me! And never once asked for anything in return. A+ gentleman in my book. Won't forget.

Great kit btw John! Looking forward to after photos as well!

Nevin - There's a lot of classy, honest guys here, you included, who are always a pure pleasure to do any kind of business with. Anytime I have ever needed help, one of the guys here would come through for me. Gary saved my as$ when I was buying that 20's black beauty sight-unseen. I would do the same for any of you. Good bunch of guys here. (For the most part anyway!) :p

John, appreciate the kind words...you are right to make the true statement on some of the people on here....have one question however!

On your tag here on the forum, you ask for assistance if the police are ever beating you to please put down the video camera and help....does that include a cell phone? Gave the video camera up a few years back.Laughing H

Thanks John and Nevin for the VERY kind words. I'm just happy I could help you both out. It's funny it'll be a year to the date when I get these. Same day I picked up Nevin's drums last year. My annual "drum trek" ha. I also look forward to meeting Gus when I pick them up. I'll be sure to get a picture of him with the drums. Pretty cool he's had them all these years!

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.
