Wow! Good luck on your new business adventure. Please keep the forum updated as to your progress and offerings. Do you have any ideas about partnerships? Someone like a Steve Maxwell. I would think something like this is going to be key for success, only because there is so much competition within the custom drum market.

Since the rail consolette was "the" product for W & A, have you thought about a modern version? Something the pays homage to the original design, but incorporates an updated/stronger mounting system with a retro low profile suspension mount for tom toms. It would also need to be universal to allow retrofitting on vintage bass drums without requiring alteration.

Super cool...best of luck...and please keep the double inlay on the bass drum hoops...was a nice touch! We're all looking forward to the new products.

Yeah, good luck with this.

I hope it works out.

It would be awesome to resurrect W&A.

Hi Everyone,

I'm proud to announce that Rob Kampa of Magstar Custom Drums will be building drums for Walberg and Auge! Rob has been building custom drums for over 25 years and his work has received rave reviews by Modern Drummer. Rob and I have been good friends since 1992 and we are excited to work together on this new venture!

Here is a picture of Rob cutting the ceremonial ribbon on the first new Walberg and Auge snare drum! (Serial #: 000001)

Things are getting real… quick!
