I have a set of black/silver (70s) WMP Singerlands in great shape - what should I use to protect the interior shells? Thanks.

The wood is unlacquered now ? I'd suggest a couple of coats of Tung Oil. wait 12 hrs. min. between and do a very fine sand between, like 320 grade paper... Makes the surface nice and dense, and also helps with the sound a bit....

Oil,it penetrates, wax does not.Wax collects dirt, oil can be rubbed long after an application to rejuvinate the lustre...Stay with oil.
