Par for the course John, you flap your gums without any truth or knowledge behind it. In your post of what you are commenting about that got deleted, I merely commented how it was off topic and that it was not what the intention of this forum was.If the mods see fit to delete it, that's their call. As far as you insinuating that I complained directly to Tommy, unless you've got proof of that being correct, I suggest you shut up and speak of what you know to be truthful, rather than starting false rumors. As I've stated before with you and regarding this post. It is a topic that was not the intention of this forum and I will speak my peace about that anytime.

Oh great, now this post will definitely be deleted. I only wanted to show appreciation to my Spurs, that's all.

Not sure why some threads have to devolve.

I am a Heat fan because my son has loved LeBron James for as long as I can remember. While not often seen in the NBA these days, a great team can beat a team of great players. The Spurs are a great team and they have a great coach. Congrats.

Well... the main reason some threads "have to devolve" is that they are not focused on what this forums focus is supposed to be! This is the "Vintage Drum Forum", and David and my thought from the forums inception was to FOCUS entirely on vintage drums and the many varied sub-catagories that it entails. Sports.. religion.. politics, etc., while certainly being viable chat topics elsewhere, aren't what we are all about here on the VDF. That all said though...

... I take a pretty easy/relaxed editorial stance here as we do indeed have a nice group of members! Consequently, this thread has stayed put, and will most probably not devolve... unless it gets ugly of course. I do want to mention that BBK has it correct though: With the all emcompassing "social media" that's out there today, there are other options for this line of thread. Vintage drums anyone?! Bueller? Bueller?
