Weird 80s Ludwig? Help with an ID Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Loading...

Got this with a really badly re-wrap set of 70s Ludwigs. 16" Floor Tom with weird lugs. Any idea what this might be. Leg mounts dont have any marking and the inside of the shell was sprayed with what looks to be truck bed liner.

Mr Horton! That is nothing more than some non-descript MIT floor tom...not really a great one at that. It may sound decent, but it ain't worth chit.

EDIT: AFTER LOOKING A LITTLE CLOSER, IT COULD BE A TAMA.

That looks like a 80's vintage Tama stagestar or swingstar floor tom.The interior should be a medium speckled grey and its called Zolo coat. They aren't bad sounding drums.

Thanks, the previous owner painted over the Zolo with a similar looking interior but this stuff is much thicker. She's a part drum now.
