Job well done!!
Honky Tonks much like Juke Joints are a very fun places to be.
Here's a 1969 Stones song. Interesting Charlie is out front.

I liked the 5 second snippet at the start of The Hollies...
Charlie!..Looks like the BDP G. kit .
Back on topic.....
if you ever go to a Kenny Chesney show...you will see that 8 or 9 out of 10 people there are women!..And..quite a few of them are hawt!
Maybe you will get the same kind of draw...
Nuthin wrong with country drummin.
Very rudimental.
Good stuff.
FYI: goin over to the "dark side" usually means playin a triggered kit or pads. ;)
That was the music of my drumming youth in Texas. Good fun! Congrats on the gig. What neato kit are you gonna play with this band?
So happy to see the happy ending! I recall when you left the last band it was difficult for you. Comes to show that good things can come to timely endings.
I have never been a big fan of listening to country music. I was in a cover band several years ago that played some, so I experienced country that way quite intimately - and found that it is very fun to play! There is so much soul to that music and feel that is often void in other genres.
Great job on the evident confidence of the audition(s). Enjoy the cash and enjoy the experience. It should prove to be a nice reward for you having the courage to leave you last band.
