Went to Nashville to sell...came back w/ a mid-40s Leedy kit! Last viewed: 53 minutes ago

Picked up this very nice, no issues (except maybe lightly rusted hardware) Leedy bass in the consignment section. Great price and then the seller says.... I got some hardware in my trunk. Well, "some hardware" turned out to be EVERYTHING but a snare, tom toms and cymbals....all purchased by his Dad as a kit just after WWII. SCORE! Too bad he had sold off the matching drums.

Then I saw the tom tom, probably from an earlier kit and bought it for a song from another vendor. I did end up selling some stuff so $$ was a wash...even my wife is happy!

Now I need to complete the set!

thats a beautiful kit. its great that all the hardware is together like that. do you have a leedy snare to go with it?

i hardly ever sell any gear. but ive got a 30's(?) leedy utility. its a 6.5x14 6 lug nickel over brass snare. i'm thinking of selling it. if you would be interested,just shoot me a pm anytime. it might not be what you were looking for to complete the kit though,not sure.
