Picked up this 1121? pedal. Checked catalog pages, & Ludwig book, & can find this version nowhere. It appears to have the 1123 straight legs as opposed to the catalog 1121 w/ the twisted, down-facing feet. Also, the center tightening thubscrew is far different from what's shown on all WFL 1121's I've checked out since finding this one.

Just curious if this is a 1121,1123 or a Frankenpedal. Of course, w/ everything 60's expect the unexpected, right?

Thanks - Chris

that's the last version of the 1121 right before the 1123 came out. they were made in the early 60's and probably for a limited time. they have the regular feet, like you mentioned. and, many of them have the rubber cup with the tilter like the 1123 does. its a transition piece for sure.

So, "limited time" = rare & valuable? Only kidding. I am curious what a period correct clutch looks like - if it's more trouble to explain, no worries.

Thanks for the info, Mike.
