WFL BDP Snare drum info? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

I recently got this WFL snare drum from a buddy and found out from a fellow member that it appears to be a late 40s/early 50s but that the muffler looks added later. Does anyone have any info to verify or debunk that? Either way, its a great sounding drum!

Looks mid 50's to me. Tone control's probably an "add on" ?
