WFL Club Date (Orphans) Project Last viewed: 3 hours ago

WFL orphan kit. I had it up here before and pulled it. Just wasn't ready to let it go yet but I am at a point where I need to sell some things to pay for a recording project Im working on. All the hardware shows some pitting and some pieces rust. None of the hardware has been cleaned. I am willing to sell each drum individually since I bought them and most parts that way. Nickel hardware with the exception of the T's and claws on kick. This set sounds great. I put Fiberskyns on the toms a couple months ago and barely even played these.

The 12x15 FT is sold.

The 14x22 kick drum has been drilled for a double tom mount. I also have a cymbal mount that is missing in the pic that will be included. I got the drum in this condition. Not sure if it ever had a wrap on it or not.

$175 plus shipping.

I

ve had the 13" tom for years. It had badly flaking duco paint that i stripped. This was one of my first times stripping paint and so some was left behind. May still come off I think.

$100 plus shipping.

I have these for sale locally on Grand Rapids MI CL. If interested Id prefer to discuss over the phone to hash out all details. Please PM me with questions or if you are interested in a single drum.

Thanks

Curtis

Eric,

The 13" tom would work for me. If you have more of those WFL clip style brackets and FT legs I am after those. Also after some 60's Ludwig floor tom legs.

Curtis had two of these kits and I bought the other one. I sent the shells to Jeff to have him add a mahogany veneer and the kit is now one of my all-time favorites. These drums are prime candidates for restoration. You end up with a killer sounding set of vintage drums. Whoever buys these for a project will be glad they did. If you're thinking about buying Curtis's drums... do it!

Then lower your price a bit, I bought this kit for $125 and an old cymbal that was worth about $100. I'm just saying, if you really need to move something, make the deal to good to pass up. If someone wants to re-wrap that kit, it's going to cost them another $300-400, that's a lot of money to have tied up in a players kit. :2Cents:
