5.5 x 14 Super Classic?

I am looking for help to ID what snare this is. I believe it would be a Super Classic model but am unsure. The gold hardware and clear finish is something that I have not seen before on a snare like this.

Any thoughts?

I think youre right about the super classic randy. the clear job and the gold are most likely done by a previous owner. appears to be a maple exterior that was cleared. so maybe a duco finish that was stripped which would also explain the loss of the badge.

Hi Randy!

+ 1 to Mike as usual!Clapping Happy2

Any date stamped inside shell?

It could be a Transition Badge or even Pre-serial Keystone also, they use to have "WFL old fashioned butt plate"...

Besides, how the snare beds look like? Just curiosity

Best regards

Thanks guys. I was afraid of the" by P.O." part. Any idea of a ballpark value on this one? Shell is in great shape and the gold finish shows definite

light chipping. Strainer works good and it sounds awesome.

Thanks for you help!
