WFL Mahogany Shells/Sold as kit or Orphans Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Hi All,

Need to raise some $. I'm putting up for sale a 'woody kit' composed of vintage (40's & 50's) WFL 3-ply mahoagny shells w/maple re-rings. Some of the very best quality drum shells the company ever produced. I'm willing to sell them as a kit, ($475.00 + shipping) or individually as follows:

WFL 14" x 26" (1950's) bass drum - $200.00 + shipping

WFL 14" x 10" (late 1940's) Rack Tom (rack tom is a snare conversion!) - $125.00 + shipping

WFL 16" x 16" (1950's) Floor Tom w/leg mounts (legs not included) - $160.00 + shipping

All drums have rock maple hoops, clips and Standard lugs. Classic lugs can be substituted as the hole spacing is the same. The bass drum has Zephyr lugs.

Each drum is ready to be played as-is, or recovered to match an existing kit. PM me if interested. No trades on this one please, as I mentioned earlier, I'm selling them to raise some much needed cash. Thanks for looking.

Here is a link to the original thread. More details about the drums there:

Thank You

Hey, got a curved rail for a 40's Bass Drum?

Or spurs? Or BD muffler.

I am so hijacking, sorry.

Can't post any new photos... my computer is down and I'm using my wife's machine just to connect to the internet. Here is a link to a photo of a different kit (not mine) with zephyr lugs.

Man, I thought you already sold that kit. I am still coveting...

Curious as to why it is cheaper as individual pieces than as a complete set though?

Bad math! LOL Thanks, I've adjusted the prices accordingly. Although telling me won't endear you to anybody else... I am grateful.

Actually, I left the individual drum prices alone and dropped the price of the kit... hoping for a quick flip. Got a couple of wolves at the door.

What did you end up doing for spurs? Also, did you ever add WFL badges?
