WFL snare drum Last viewed: 1 hour ago

I'd like to know more about this WFL snare drum, such as: Was it considered a good drum in it's time? Is it collectable? Rough guess as to possible value? All hardware (except lug nuts for bottom head) is intact and working. I believe the lugs are zephyr lugs. The strainer works smoothly, as does the muffler inside. I believe the snares are original, with one wire strand missing. A refrigerator magnet sticks to the lugs, but not the shell. The heads on it are completely ripped apart, and appear to be calfskin. At the very bottom of the badge, it says "PRESIDENT". I think it is from around 1939 or 1940, but do not see any stamp or date. On one side of the snare strainer is engraved "WFL DRUM Co." and on the other side is "PAT. PEND.". Thanks for any information.

Thanks. I need to amend my comment on the badge. The bottom says "Wm. F. LUDWIG PRESIDENT".

From what I've been able to find online, with where the info is on the badge, it looks to be from around 1939 or '40. Does anyone know if a WFL All-American Swing model in working order is (single strainer) is considered a good snare drum and desirable at all for a collector?
