I picked up this 6.5x14 WFL snare yesterday. Can anyone tell if this is the factory finish? It doesn't have the original throw off or butt plate, but there are no extra holes, thanks.

Whether it is refinished or not, that is a really nice looking vintage snare drum.I bet it plays awesome.
Could this be be the Festival model? They came in 6.5x14 and offered a mahogany finish.

+1 on the refinish..The leaking around the screws and the dribbling marks off of the bearing edge says tampered with , and sloppily i might add. No matter, very nice and i'm sure just as nice sounding as well. Just looking at it reminds me of my own Leedy and Ludwig Reliance student model, which i've just decided i'll be using at tomorrow's gig. ;)
