Thanks Sean!

My bass drum is actually a 24, but I know it is going to rule! The reso is calf and it sounded great before wide open with a crappy batter head!! I can't wait for this kit to be finished. Hopefully my inlays are coming to today. The hoops are all painted up pretty and ready to go!

Keep me posted! Check out my restore thread on this kit....I DO have that nice Ludwig Duco floor tom that I would be willing to work into a trade if you come across someone looking.

Thanks again, and have a blast at the show!

Adam,

I'm finding out today what happened to the 16x16! No other WL's to speak of at the show yesterday...AND...I'm hearing there will be a Hollywood vintage drum show later this year!!!

So your kick is a 24" SWEET! I'm including a picture of my1949 Ray McKinely 24,13,16 big pattern black diamond WFL kit...man these drum really rule for tone and quallity...did you pipe the Red sparkle WFL kit on ebay??? 22,13,16 w/bongos...SWEEET!!!

talk soon man...

Cheers,

Sean

Sweet BDP!

That is technically the same exact kit that I am trying to complete here. Ray Mckinley! Mine has some mods on the BD though....luckily he left the snare alone! Yours looks cherry though dude! Nice!

Anxiously awaiting what you hear about the floor. Not holding my breath by any means though. The floor tom pictured below is up for sale/trade as part of the deal if you hear of anyone looking. The badge has been taken off and reset, but all parts are 100% original including unused era correct Ludwig heads!

Thanks again for your help Sean!
