They look to be in nice shape, however that tom mount doesn't look original, could be though.

Prices seem to be all over the place and those things are heavy. I think you could get $1,000 or more if you found the right seller, from my experience. More if that's a matching snare.

You are correct, mounts are not original however these work better than the original ones, so if function is a concern, these work well. yes, they are heavier than cement, LOL>>>would need to be a local pick up. I would like to trade for a clear set.

I completely agree on the mounts. But as you know, that will kill the 'collector' value.

I have a feeling you have seen this auction, but...just in case. Here's a link to kit that is close to yours...one less tom. I was wondering, from the picture of your set, it looks like there are cracks in the rack tom finish. Strange reflection?

I saw that set, not as clean as mine, shows some serious wear up close on the pics, what you see on my set is a graphic art decal (easily removed) in the form of lightening bolts, which goes with the theme of my band which in essence signify's higly over charged electricity. The guy did an amazing job on the art work, I get all kinds of compliments on stage, G

Right on! Your kit is more valuable than the one I posted.

You'd be nuts to limit yourself to local pickup. Just find out what the local pack-and-ship place wants to do the job, make that the shipping cost, and let them do the work.
