What Can You Tell Me About This Snare? Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Hey guys, stumbled upon this drum this morning and have some questions with it. I asked for a picture of a badge, if there was one. I believe it may actually be a MIJ Slingerland copy but the wrap, muffler, and re-rings are throwing me a bit off. Also, the throw off doesn't look like a Slingerland.

Any ideas?

Also, what would be a decent price for it, whatever it may be.

I have a strainer like that on a no name snare from my first kit. Those do look like Slingerland lugs. Maybe they built this snare from parts.

Hmm... Would it be worth $65 and a hour drive? I feel like no name drums didn't add the reinforcement rings, but I could be wrong.

It's a MIJ knockoff from the looks of the inside of the shell! Only worth it if it's worth it to you.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

+1.Agreed.That strainer was never on a Slingerland drum,and looks like a Gretsch copy.The wrap is nice,but the interior looks like luan.Asian firewood me thinks.
