What cymbals do you guys play? Last viewed: 49 minutes ago

I'm a little curious as to what brand/series you guys play when gigging out? In the last 2 years I literally have bought and sold over 50 cymbals looking for the right fit on stage for live situations. And low and behold all the while I discovered that my 50/60 A's are more musical than any newer cymbal I ever purchased, the only one I still hold on to is a 16" med/thin 2002 crash, which sounds fantastic. I do plan on getting an `18" A Custom EFX as soon as one comes up on the bay at the right price. So what do you guys play?

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Majority are Vintage Zildjians (A's), some newer A Custom, K Custom and Armand thrown in as well from the Z' farm.

The others are a Calabria Reworked A, Lauritsen's (2), Paiste (1), Krut (1) and some WuHan (2) for flavor.

Sorry about that, sometime the past is not truly appreciated till it's too late but you are enjoying some of the nicest brass I've heard enjoy

Mostly vintage As. I also have an early 1970s Paiste 602 I purchased new and Zildjian and CIE 20" ride that I like a lot. The only modern cymbals I have that I play are select Zildjian Armands. There are A LOT of other cymbals I still have or have owned and sold but the ones above are my keepers.
