Prices are way down on these. They are actually down on all 18" bops across the board. I purchased an 18-12-14-14 Rogers Holiday in the past 2 years for 1700. .. and this wasn't a sneaky find. It was advertised for weeks. Maxwell seems to move them for about 4K. I really think the suggested 2500-4000 values are correct. Even with the dyna considered. Dynas were selling for 2-3K in the past 10 years. Now, they are about 1200-1500 drums. This is realistic numbers as of today to obtain sales. You can absolutely ask more and sit on it... which is common! :)
What do Rogers 12/14/18 Jazz kits sell for? Last viewed: 1 minute ago
Chris,Just looked at that kit and Wow, a 14" FT, 18" bass and the matching wood Dyna?!!! Market value on something like this is almost impossible to determine, as how often does a kit like this surface for sale? I've watched 18" Rogers basses go for $1K-3K on eBay, with wood Dyna's selling also in that range. 14" FT's can fetch anywhere from $400-$800 depending on hitting the right buyer who's looking for that particular drum. But to have all those Holy Grail drums grouped together in one kit is something we don't see pop up often. Good luck on the sale, and I hope you're successful finding that buyer out there who just "must-have" this particular setup. Keep us posted.Mike

Mike + Optic :
I think both of your comments are perfect bookends for the way to view the kit; with both being more or less correct.
