Did they make "virgin" bass drums back in the day?

Believe this has been discussed on another forum. Not usual for a virgin bass, but this could be the second bass drum of a double bass set that did not have the tom mount or cymbal mount.

if it was my post discussed previously, then it is not the same drum kit, this guy is from another location. The bass drum from a double kit still has some kinda knob on it. This one seems completely "virgin".

The price seems a little too high, don't you think?

What Amos said! The price is right too for a kit in that kind of pristine condition.

Nice!

John

Too many great drums to list here!

What i think that its a piece together set i can't see the paper tags but the bass drum looks to be a re-wrapped drum..The badge is in the wrong place it should be up more to the lugs not in the center of drum..The set is more like a 800.00 set not a 1,600.00 set...Mikey

That's my suspicion as well.

Although the seller claims it is all original.

Let him claim all he wants to claim. Real experts will, no doubt, sorrect the seller's misinformation.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.
