What Happen to Mikey777 my Friend?? Last viewed: 4 minutes ago

Hello,First post i just sign up the other day.

Iam trying to fine him we have been friends for 35+ years

No one's heard from him in 9 weeks.

WE were to do some studio work 2 weeks ago in L.A. Mikey was a no show this has never happen in the pass.

I have called his 3 phone number's ,I have went by his place in the city of Orange,ca.I have tryed to fine him at his ranch in northern ca he does not live their anymore. Have talked to many friends and on one know's were he is.

I have emailed all 4 email address i have for him have not got a reply..Over 40 email's..

I know he had some health problem's a few month's ago.But the last time i talked to him he said he made it out of the wood's he was back and running..

So please if anyone know's anything or has a email address that i may not have PLEASE email me at [email][email protected][/email]

Many members of the VDF community have also expressed concern regarding Mikey's apparent disappearance. Do you know, or have you contacted any relatives? We certainly hope Mikey hasn't experienced anything tragic. Keep us informed.

If none of his friends or relatives have heard from Mike,I would contact the local police dept.,and file a missing persons report.Some departments won't let anyone but next of kin file,but I'd give it a shot anyway.At least they can check his home,and phone records for activity,and the local utilities to see if his bills are being paid,and if his utilities are still turned on.

It's just me thinking like a cop.If it were me,I'd like to know what happened to my friend.Just a suggestion.I hope all is well.

...thats bad, i hope he gets better soon! i am still waiting for my stuff from him, he didn't answer my mail. I think he could say something about it and to us here though. Everybody would understand if he had to wait for his already paid drumstuff but saying nothing is not cool.

hope he get's better!

You guys must be friends... you write just like him! That said though:

Mikey got in touch with me PRIVATELY this past October. He seemed well, and wanted to know what was up with the forum. etc. I told him that I hoped he was feeling better!, and at some point he probably should address ALL the small issues he had going on with guy's here that paid for items... but never received them, as he kinda just... disappeared. We do have a very understanding bunch here!, and I'm sure everyone is concerned for Mikey777's well being, but by the same token... he really needs to address what certainly appears to be, quite a few paid for, but unshipped items. As a matter of record...

... the VDF Staff doesn't get involved in the personal transactions between members here. We DO employ the "honor system". So that said, hopefully Mikey is on the mend!, and will check in shortly.. or even get in touch with me again for that matter. Until then though...

I also have not received an order from Mikey777 that I paid for. However my order is a year old. I've emailed him many times with only one answer from him promising to send the drums. But I haven't seen them, yet. I've noticed several posts by him in the past couple of months, but he doesn't respond to my emails. Like some others, I don't think Mikey is being fair with those who have been waiting for orders. He could at least, let us know he has a problem. If he has the time and ability to post on the Forum, he should be able to answer his customers who have been left out to dry. I wish him well, but I don't think he has done right by us.
