Clip mount makes me wonder if those are converted concert toms. Probably lowers the value although I can't say by how much. It'd be a no-sale for me: the clip mount provides limited flexibility, even more so with a 24' bass drum.Al

Small lugs on those two toms indicates that they were originally concert toms. I hadn't noticed that or even the clip mounts before.

That knocks things down a peg or two price wise.

I guess that is good or bad news depending on if you're buying or selling. These no doubt sound great but they aren't as Ludwig shipped them anymore so that's a hit.

That's not a desirable color, though it might be rare. Red sparkle, now that would be worth some dough. In my market, I'd probably ask $700 for them and they might take a few months to sell. I have a hard time imagining good vintage maple Ludwigs selling for less than that unless they're trashed. Or for more than $1300 or so, for that matter.

If the small toms were concert toms originally, they shouldn't have re-rings on the bottoms, right?

Concert toms had rings and edges top and bottom.
