Pre '67 Pearl-made 'Stagemaster' - very rare - thin 3-ply with re-rings 12/14/20 one double-ended center lug (club style)

......specifically at the moment using an early 70s Dixie 14in FT instead though.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Having a Halloween party at my girlfriend's house tonight. Won't be playing, but Murray seems to be enjoying himself on my 1971 Slingerland Modern Solo 2R kit!

Happy Halloween to all!

I'm going to play my black Jenkins-Martin kit with my "day of the dead" snare. ;-)

mendozart!

That snare is amazing! I am a huge fan of all things Mexican. I've travelled to the beautiful country maybe forty times over the years. I've even written a book set in Puerto Vallarta. Where did you find the wrap? Was it already a part of this drum? PLEASE, tell me the history! Thanks!

Hey Brian,

This is a Jenkins-Martin, spun fiberglass drum. Its not a wrap, but a special fabric that is laid up in the shell, so it's actually a part of the shell. If you don't know anything about J-M, they have recreated the old Blaemire shells.

Thank you very much for the information! It is very much appreciated. I'm going to do some research on J-M drums for sure. Man, what a beautiful snare!
