I have a 1965 ludwig keystone badge marching snare 14" that I can see had long lugs on it but not sure what strainer to use p83 or classic? need advise....

Marchers came with P-83,P-85 and P-87 strainers If the hole spacing is 2 1/2" center to center,then you can use the P- 83,85 or 86.If the spacing is different,then it was a P-87.

most likely the p83 on that one if its indeed a 65.
