Here are some pics of the 13 x 11 tom and 16 x 16 floor tom that go with this kit as promised...Sorry for the delay!...As you can see that the badges, wrap, lugs and wood type all coincide with the bass drum...However, the only difference is that these 2 toms have stickers inside stating they were born July 17, 1958!! There are no other date stamps inside...Any thoughts on this?

Thanks again

Cheers

Well, I can tell you FOR SURE those shells are from the early 1970's ....without a single doubt!

Your interpretation of that number is incorrect. I'm not sure of the correct interpretation, but it's definitely not 1958.

Nice looking interiors!

Stickers indicate 1971,to be exact.

Wow, I guess I was misreading the numbers...This makes much more sense...With everything else matching on the kit except these stickers, I wasn't sure if someone had tampered with these shells to pass them off as 1958's!! I learn something new everyday...Thanks guys, that definitely clears that issue up...

Now the bass drum has no date stamp or sticker inside....Was there a specific year(s) when they didn't date the shells? Was 1971 the first year they started to put these stickers inside the shells?

Again, the membership has taught me more about vintage drums!!
